What are Custom Foot Orthotics?
Custom Foot Orthotics are inserts that sit in your shoes which have been made to fit and support your foot perfectly. We take a 3D scan of your foot and create an orthotic that is shaped to fit your foot, and support the areas of your foot that need it.
How do orthotics work?
Orthotics improve movement and reduce stress placed over vulnerable parts of the foot, ankle, knee and hip by re-distributing pressure throughout the foot.
Which conditions do orthotics treat?
Orthotics are needed when pain is present in the foot, ankle, knees or hips and an assessment identifies an abnormality with foot function during movement, such as:
Flat feet (pes planus) Posterior tibialis tendon dysfunction
High arches (pes cavus) Achilles tendinopathy
